What a surprise for our little town of DeRidder... to have five fantastic coaches from Europe arrive to teach our youth Soccer fundamentals. Stuart, Vinnie, Steve, Rick, Gemma... five of the best and brightest semi-pros that Europe has to offer... and all simply wonderful with the kids. Three from England... two from Scotland... the accents alone kept us enthralled for quite some time. Our community welcomed these five, and their organization into our homes and into our hearts. The kids learned alot... the parents even learned a bit... when we weren't tripping over our own feet... :)

The Patch...



Along with the drills, we learned that cleats are 'boots', soccer is 'football' and English as we know it, is not necessarily... 'English'. All in all it was good fun.
