First of all, you must have a user name and password on our system. If you already have these and are changing your computer setup, the instructions below may save you a trip to the library. If you do not have a user name and password, you will need to come to the library to set up an account. If it is impossible (or at least extremely difficult) for you to come in, call the library at 463-6217 and we will try to get you set up without a visit.
If you are using Win95, you can use Netscape instead of -or- in addition to the Internet Explorer. Simply download Netscape for Win95 from the Netscape Web Site and follow the instructions for installing it
Microsoft offers on-line technical support for installation of
the Internet Explorer and related programs which provide
mail and news service. Microsoft also offers tips and
tricks for using the Explorer. You may need to wander around the site for awhile before you get the hang of it (I did)
