Inception [DVD] directed by Christopher Nolan
The film Inception is about a man named Dom Cobb (played by the actor Leonardo DiCaprio) who forms a team to complete a job that he was hired for, where they have to enter several layers of dreams using a device that allows dream sharing, so that they can plant an idea in their target's subconscious that will affect the target's life once the target wakes up in the real world.
I like the film Inception because I am a fan of dreams and dreaming, even though dreams were not the main focus of the film, it was still nice watching a well-made film that involved dreams that also had a good musical score by Hans Zimmer.
I think that people will like the film Inception because not only is it one of the BBC's 100 Greatest Films Of The 21st Century, it is an overall good film with a bit of something for everyone, that takes the viewer on an adventure that gives the viewer an example of some of the things that are possible in dreams and how dreams and the real world can interact and affect each other; but make sure that you watch this film when you are not tired, and when you are ready to think because it can get a bit confusing at times.
If Inception interests you, feel free to request or check it out. We'll be back next Thursday with a different Staff Pick.
