You can use your 5 free weekly downloads or 3 free daily hours of commercial-free streaming music to have a great party playlist. You can even create a playlist on the Freegal website. Not planning a party? That’s okay, there is plenty of all types of music.

There are many renditions of “Auld Lang Syne” which means “For Old Times Sake”. Everyone sings this at midnight on New Year's Eve. Try the ukulele version on Ukulele Christmas. Or try: Bobby Darin, Mannheim Steamroller, Susan Boyle, Kenny G, Mitch Miller and the Gang, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guard, Guy Lombardo, or The Platters.

There are other New Years songs like “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”, “A Lonely New Year” sung by Barbara Chandler, “Happy New Year Blues” sung by May Harris, “After New Years Eve”, or “My New Year’s Prayer”.

For the Jewish Holiday Hanukkah you can find the cute “Dreidle Song”, the upbeat “Hanukkah O Hanukkah”, and the beautiful “In the Window” as well as many others on many albums from children’s and babies’ albums to swing and jazz to heavy metal and the classics.

To everyone have a Happy New Year and Happy Hanukkah!
