All of us often look at successful people and wonder how they are able to accomplish so much. This week we received a new book that may shed some light on that subject and help us to become more successful in our own lives - Smarter Faster Better : The Secrets of Being Productive in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg.

The author, an award-winning investigative reporter for the New York Times, looks at what successful people have in common. He finds that there are eight key concepts that separate truly productive people from those who are merely busy. These concepts range from motivation and goal setting to focus and decision making. Drawing on the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral economics – as well as the experiences of CEOs, generals, and other highly successful people, he explains how they are able to view the world differently and make choices that enable them to rise above others. He show how we can apply all of this in our own lives in order to succeed with less stress and struggle, and to get more done while becoming smarter, faster, and better at everything we do.
