Clammed Up by Barbara Ross

Fans of JoAnne Fluke's Hannah Swensen mysteries will enjoy Barbara Ross's Main Clambake series, beginning with Clammed Up.

Julia Snowden left her high-power job in New York to return to her quiet hometown of Busman's Harbor, Maine and help save the family business, Snowden Family Clambake Company. Despite some tension in the family, Julia looks forward to throwing herself into the work for the summer, paying off the business loan, and returning the Clambake Co. to it's prosperous position. What she didn't expect was having the Clambake Company's property shut down during a murder investigation and threatening to close them down for good! If the family business is to survive, Julia's going to have to roll up her sleeves and move this investigation along!

This story includes Maine clambake-style recipes.
