We know that many of our patrons have set goals for 2016 and here at BPL we want to help you exceed your expectations! The online and physical resources that we provide can help you meet your fitness, educational, and financial goals. This week we wanted to point out some of our resources that will help you improve your physical health.

At the library: Each branch has a collection of fitness DVDs and books that are available for checkout. These materials can teach you about proper nutrition, walk you through a yoga class, or instruct you on the correct form for weight lifting. If you can’t find what you are looking for any of our staff members will be happy to help!

Online: The Zinio magazine collection allows you to check out the latest editions of magazines and read them online or through an app. Check out a magazine and read it at the gym to cut down the boredom of the treadmill or elliptical! Another great resource is Universal Class, where you can sign up to take Meditation 101, Weight Lifting 101, and numerous other healthy living classes.
