No Place on Earth [DVD] produced by The History Channel

No Place on Earth is an account of a true story that took place in Ukraine. The scene is a pair of caves that families of Jews used to hide from Ukranian and German authorities during WWII.

Chris Nicola is an investigator in New York. He is also a cave explorer whose family was originally from Ukraine. He had heard of the caves and went to Ukraine exploring. As he says, I went to Ukraine looking for my family. I found the history of several others'. After finding the evidence of people living underground for almost a year and a half, he begins the process of finding the families of those people and telling their story.

The true story of how they survived underground for the longest recorded uninterrupted period is a dramatic tale of survival that is well worth watching for the whole family. Just see your friendly library personnel for them to assist you. Enjoy.
